LOVE these! They bring to mind temari balls. Making 3D objects is a nice detour for the stitchers!

They are magnificent. As are you, Owen. From one “odd ball” to another. Cher xo

The balls are the coolest things yet. Keep on being an artistic oddball! It’s amazing!

I love seeing your work! As one who dabbles in knitting, weaving, and sewing/tailoring, it is a joy to see the pieces of art you create from colorful string.

Perfect representation of each element and instantly recognizable. I love the seaweed coming up from the substrate and the starfish moving along the bottom of the ocean. The pinks and blues are coral maybe? At least that’s what comes to mind for me. Fire is probably my favorite next to Earth. Love the volcanic image it immediately brings to mind. Air reminds me of the currents that drive both the ocean and air combined. The engines of life on this planet.

I love the symbolism of all of them. I’m not qualified to critique your stitching. I always think it’s beautifully done, and all the pieces you create are works of art.

I can think of all kinds of things to do with the balls. They are awesome and marvelous and I'm certain the center of conversation. I love them and all the stitching is wonderful. And that's all I'm going to say about balls. Except for the Knicks. Congratulations!!🏆🏀

I've always been the odd ball, and often felt misunderstood, so this resonates with me. I think they're lovely and interesting! Keep up the good work!

PS, my first thought was that these were the most beautiful dryer balls I had ever seen. LOL! They're much better on display than in the dryer!

🤭 I thought the same thing! “ How clever to use those wool balls as stitching bases” was what was in my head just now. I bet they would work too!

These bright beauties return me to my memory of macrame pieces that I either made or purchased. However, your odd balls are much more spectacular. When I did macrame I might use more than one color of yarn to make something. But, these are little rainballs (rainbow+balls)!❤️
