When we were kids, our mom taught my sister and me to embroider. The underside of my sister’s embroidery looked like yours — almost as perfect as the front. Mine always looked like a cat had thrown up embroidery floss! 😜
It's fantastic!! I am about to embark on a small embroidery project, but I'm not done overthinking it yet. Each time I read your posts & see your spectacular work I feel inspired to dive in & have a little more faith in my own capabilities. Thank you for the inspiration, and for sharing your magical art. So glad you are here.
I especially love this Sunday Stitch edition for how you describe your artistic approach, the form, the concept, the color story and the muse, BJW - a bit mysterious. This fascinates me as a stitcher and creator. I appreciate your stories so much.
Love love love your stitchery 💃💕… & would love a demonstration. 💕💕💕💕💕
I'll bet that hat has magical properties. Have you tested it for flight?
It wouldn't surprise me Traci! 🤭
What a fantastic hat! I particularly love the underside of the brim as it looks like its own celestial galaxy.
The energy of your trees intrigues me
I like it so much .
Even the messy under brim . Life's messy and I like you put a picture up of the underside we often don't like others to see .
Tbh Fran, it probably my favourite bit 🤭
To me it looks very neat - th bacsides of my stitchery is always much more chaotic and messy. I don't have as much control of my knots as you do.
Can't spell before coffee. 🤣
No worries, I vant smell even af3er a coughy 🤭
Your work is simply alluring. I’m a tetrachromat and my brain is magnetized to all the possibilities of the many colors woven through your designs. 🙏✨

Mine too Jane when I learned🤭🤷♀️
Love the hat, and the dragon! And I didn’t know you wove. I’ve been weaving since 1972!
Thank you Joan. I hardly weave at all now unfortunately. I only ever did a little but it was fun.
Such a wonderful hat; I love the artistry of your stitching, each piece is unique, one-off, never to be repeated.
Also: my fingers hurt just looking at it!
Love love love this Owen. And it is nice to meet Big John Willie 💙.
Life is better with dragons 👏🏻❤️
